Pastor Greg's Bio

Pastor and Noell Welcome to our church website. I am Pastor Greg Hubbard. I have been the pastor here at the Smith Center EFC for almost 23 years. My wife, Noell, and I have four grown children, three boys and a girl. We love living in rural America and pastoring the wonderful folks here. I am a graduate of Rockmont College (now know as Colorado Christian University) where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies. From Rockmont I went to Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas. I was in the four year Th.M. program and graduated from there with a degree in Semitics and Old Testament. Basically, this was a major in Biblical Hebrew. My passion, aside from leading people to Christ, is to preach the Word of God as the inspired, inerrant word that it is. I preach exegetically through the Bible in a verse by verse fashion. If you are interested in knowing what the Word of God teaches, this is the church for you. I would invite you to view our sermons on our YouTube channel which you can access from our website here. I also write a weekly devotional called "Hokmah" which is the Hebrew word for wisdom. It too is accessable on our site. I love the Lord and we do our best to speak His truth in love.

Counseling

I am deeply concerned with the state of marriages in our country today. I have a counseling ministry designed to help couples come to freedom and connect with each other's hearts. I am affliated with John Regier and use his method of spiritual counseling. His organiztion is called, Caring for the Heart Ministries. I am avialable for conseling for couples in need of someone to come alongside them and help. Contact the church for appointments. The counseling requires some workbook study, some paperwork, taking the Taylor Johnson Temperament Analysis Profile and then a week in my office. Don't hesitate to call if you need assistance.

In Jesus,

Pastor Greg H. Hubbard
